Personal History		Early Life - Billie Jo was born before dawn on a cold Halloween morning in a small farming town on Earth. Her parents were named Terrance and Linda. Terrance was a retired Starfleet petty officer and Linda was his hometown sweetheart. Billie Jo's early life was rather mostly ordinary up until her older brother, whom she held in high regard, chose to follow in his fathers foot steps and join Starfleet. Terrance went away to Starfleet academy. After this Billie Jo began to entertain ideas of doing the same., much to the chagrin of her father and older brother. They were worried she was not cut out for the rigors of Starfleet life, and given how dangerous the galaxy was becoming they feared what might happen to her. But, she was stubborn and at the age of seventeen she moved away to join Starfleet academy. Starfleet Academy - Billie Jo scored high enough on entrance exams to get into Starfleet academy and managed to do well in her academy course work. She was by no means going to graduate at the top of her class but she was looked upon favorably by her instructors and was well like by her fellow students. She seemed to have a talent for the life sciences and at first considered a career in that field. During her third year at the academy an incident occurred in which a fellow student was attacked and killed by an unknown psychic alien. The creature fed off the fear of other beings. In induced nightmares and terrifying visions until the victim eventually died. Billie Jo became the creatures next victim. Starfleet doctors were able to figure out the nature of the symptoms she was having and after a brief skirmish with security force the creature appeared to be killed. It is unknown if it was or not, but it has never resurfaced. During her recovery, Billie Jo met a Betazoid Doctor named Azuma. The pair bonded and Billie Jo was encouraged to go into medicine. So upon her graduation from the academy she went on to Starfleet Medical. Starfleet Medical - Billie Jo went to Starfleet medical and did well in her studies there. She eventually specialized in emergency medicine. Her choice of specialties has affected her career greatly. Billie Jo is currently fulfilling her residency requirements at Starfleet Medical and waiting for her first posting.
