As a survivor of Vega, Niraj retains a personal resentment to the Borg, more so than typical. In the past four months, Niraj has had several emotional outbursts against her senior officers while off duty, stifling continued promotional prospects. Her behaviour during counselling sessions is sometimes erratic, and has shown possible unresolved childhood trauma relating to her parents. Her recreational activity on the holodeck has been described as reckless and she has demonstrated some destructive tendencies. Due to the current climate, an officer would be considered an away team leader, possibly against the Borg. It is my recommendation that such a mission would prove fatal for officers under Niraj's command as she would carry on a personal emotional vendetta. Until these can be resolved, it is advised she be kept with Engineering assignments away from the Borg front, and never placed in a leadership role of a combative unit. One of the refugees from Vega has been helping us restore some of our computer systems, she's quite quiet but has been doing a good job. It seems her family were all on Vega, and as of yet, we haven't received word if they made it off or not.
