Mission: Chrysalis
Location: Delta Class Runabout Underhill; Orbiting Rifa III
Timeline: Stardate 92548.4

Nylassa eased back into the cockpit, she continued to nurse a small phaser burn on her arm while looking over the latest scanner reports "Must still be cloaked" she muttered. The only sign of any Terran activity had been a single torpedo that destroyed the shuttle provided as an escape route. It was clear there was never any intention to allow them to escape freely.

"Captains Log, working with the Intelligence division of the Eri'luroc Task Force and Admiral Jerrickson's replacement, Admiral Lucas, my ship was able to locate the Admiral, as well as Captain Shalamar on the planet Rifa III. They were both being held by Mirror Universe forces. I took a Runabout with my Chief of Security, easier to avoid being detected. It looks like by the time we had arrived, the two had already caused quite the commotion on the planet, it looked like a full scale riot. We left the Runabout on computer control and beamed down. There appeared to be a scattering field in effect and we had to beam down about two minutes jog away.

We secured the area, and made preparations to leave, but Admiral Jerrickson collapsed suddenly. I took some quick scans of him and noticed the amount of flux his DNA was in. I had no explanation. Admiral Jerrickson suddenly turned on us. He seemed half in and out of control. His strength was amplified and he exhibited uncharacteristic telekinetic abilities when flinging my team around like puppets. He regained some measure of control and told us to leave him. When we detected incoming Mirror Universe forces, and given the uncertain state he was showing, I decided we'd have to return for him later and took the shuttle as far as possible. And now here we are...

Shalamar is now in a critical condition, his supply of adrenaline and emotion had long run out and exhaustion had taken its toll. What's that Human saying? “Rage is a hell of an anaesthetic.”. I daren't bring the EMH back online, we have to minimise our power output until we can be sure we can get away. I've vowed to return for Admiral Jerrickson, and I will. But a Runabout isn't going to even dent what is waiting out there... some rescue attempt."

Nylassa looked up, the tell tale signs of a ship entering warp, even through cloak were clearly visible. "One less..." she returned to her log "There is nothing more I can do here not now. I'm going to take the risk and get us back to the San Francisco, we can probably slip out undetected then we just need to link back up with the fleet. I fear if we delay much longer, Admiral Jerrickson won't stand a chance and we won't be able to revert this."
